Probably.

The only time I've been under the knife was for hernia surgery, and it wasn't a particularly bad one. Probably something I could've lived with, although I imagine eventually it would've strangulated and killed me.

Although I've benefitted from antibiotics, I'm pretty sure they've only shortened my suffering, not saved my life.

So I'm thinking I'd be alive, but looking like I was 70 instead of 40.

3 I'd likely have died by 8. I was stepped on by a horse in the face quite close to my eye. Took stitches. I imagine the swelling - from lack of proper treatment - would have cost me the eye. If that one didn't get me, getting kicked in the head and sent flying across the yard by a stallion getting shod at the time likely would have.

4 I'd still be alive, just mostly blind and missing half my teeth. Of course with medieval nutrition I probably wouldn't have my damn near unbreakable bone structure.

5 Dead. I'd just be dead. With my grace, I can't IMAGINE the trouble I would have found. Not to mention all the other "stuff". Yeah. I'd be dead. Long time now.....

8 I would have died at birth, premature by a month and a half. I was born in '56 when incubators were not common, in fact I was very lucky the hospital had one. Been lucky every since! The doctors told my parents I'd be retarded and most likely die by the time I reached my teens. Thankfully, they were wrong about that.

13 Oops. I wouldn't have survived birth. I was almost strangled by my umbilical cord, and was an emergency C-section. (It was so bad that the doctors asked my Dad if they had to choose, which to save, me or my Mom. I was a close second on the list...) Then, assuming I made it into the world, I was born with Bronchitis, and managed to get Pneumonia and the Measls before my first birthday.
