Minutemen on the Job!

Maybe you people would read my IMAO crap if I gave you an excerpt:

In Arizona, a group of over 400 well-armed, patriotic citizens - mostly retired men - have taken it upon themselves to patrol the Mexican border to help the Border Patrol stem the tide of illegal immigrants.

Which is fine by me.

But what if their project succeeds and the border becomes secure? What will they do then? Just go home, sit on the couch, and ogle Baywatch reruns?

'Twould be tragic.

Surely there are other projects available for a heat-packin' mob of American Patriots. Projects like the ones in the extended entry:

Breast-feed kittens.

Clean out my refrigerator - assuming they're trained in proper bio-hazard disposal techniques.

Storm the DNC offices and wrap everything in aluminum foil.

While they're at the border, they can check the signal for Verizon - "¿puede usted ahora oírme?"

1 I read your stuff. Honest I do. I even laugh. ;-)

2 But I do read it!!! Guess this means I'll have to start commenting *grin*

3 I'm going to have to say I don't read it. I agree with what Alex said awhile ago about it too. I just don't get IMAO, I don't think it's that funny, really. And plus it takes forever to load and I hate that.

4 I read your stuff, on here. IMAO is too busy for my tastes. I think a lot of your stuff is funny. But I don't like dealing with IMAO. So I guess I'm in the same boat as Alex and Machelle.

5 Crap. I thought it was just Alex... Yeah, IMAO has suck-ass load times. Maybe I should start doing the blog equivalent of having IMAO come out on DVD and repost the stuff here after it's already done whatever it's going to do as far as drawing traffic over there.... Hmmm....

6 I'm in the same boat as Machelle, Alex, and Contagion. I just don't go over there. I have to search for YOUR stuff and it takes awhile to load. I'm an instant gratification kinda gal I guess! ;-)

7 Slow loading times don't bother me, I can get a lot done while my two tin cans on a string connection loads. What bothers me about IMAO is that I'm just too damned old to get about half the stuff. Harv's posts are the only items there that I can rely on. It's written by a grownup instead of a shiney-balled kid. Frank, well when he's on I hurt myself, trouble is, that's half the time. It's not his fault, about the time I'm drooling in my mush with Alzheimer's he'll be reliably funny to grownups. If the monkey-ninja squirrels don't get him first.

8 Oh, what to do with the Minutemen after the borders are secure? They should roam from campus to campus tar and feathering Leftist Professeors. Since many, maybe most, of the Minutemen are retired it's okay if they shoot the ones outrunning them.
