Realistically, they played about as well as they usually do, it's just that the Giants defense played better than the Packers defense.
They got behind our screen passes and blew them up.
Short passes, where our receivers can usually run for 5 yards after the catch, there was always a Giant right in the receiver's grill.
The Packers played the kind of football that got them to the playoffs, the Giants were prepared for that, and they execute consummately. They deserved to win.
Of course, in two weeks, those filthy sodomite troll-humping shit-hound Patriots will end up kicking a last-second field goal to win by 3 points like they always do, so I hope Eli & company enjoy their victory while it lasts.
Meanwhile I'm looking forward to a 2008 season where pretty much the same Packer team will have a similar run, but with a happier ending.
Hopefully including a victory at Texas Stadium, which is pretty much the only damn thing missing from Favre's resume.
