THE TAINT OF EVIL?

Just pondering a bit on the concept of "evil by association".

What would you do with Hitler's Bible?

Destroy it, because it was owned by the epitome of human evil?

Honor it because it's the Bible?

Sell it on eBay as a collector's item?

Something else?

2 I am leaning toward burning it. Selling it on Ebay seems kinda oogie and I wouldn't want to have it in my house....

3 I'd keep it, because the odds of it actually being USED by Adolf are pretty slim. If just being in the same room as something made it like that something, college students would be a lot smarter. As would the animals in the veterinary schools.

7 Fuck E-Bay. I'd auction an artifact of such historical value through Sothebys. (I'd donate it to the Smithsonian, but I have bills to pay). Just because Hitler was evil as hell doesn't mean he's not a historical icon. destroying something simply because it was his is, quite frankly, kind of stupid. Would you melt down Ghengis Khan's horse bridle? Or Vlad the Impaler's armor? I didn't think so...
