Sadly, I never got to meet him.
By way of eulogy, all I can say is that - as far as his blog is concerned - he kept the touchy-feely bullshit to a minimum.
Gritty, but honest.

I actually had a chance to meet him. But nobody told me about the Austin Meetup.
