1 Well, I went off on Tammi a bit this weekend for something she needs to do but isn't, so now it's my turn on you: You are a brilliant man. You've run nuclear reactors. You can do a fuck of a lot more for your family, friends, and society than standing in a teller window. Go watch Goodwill Hunting to get some inspiration or something. Don't just be a Societal Penny. Be a Shiny Quarter. Because you can.

3 I hear ya. Meanwhile, I get fully vested in the pension plan on June 15th. I plan to be elsewhere not long after.

4 Good, I'm glad you're thinking exit strategy, because I too think your brilliant and deserve to be happy. Start by thinking about the kinds of activities you love do and others which you think you can do but have never tried. Compare the latter to running a nuclear reactor and then tell yourself, heck, with a little time I can do those too!!!! You've got it all in you, just explore and let it come out. You're a brilliant writer, you've got great critical thinking and logic skills, you're interpersonal skills are off the roof. There's more but those will wait till you start believing some of the stuff above. We'll add as we go along.
